Disaster Preparedness Checklist Corporate Office- WPB First and foremost, stay safe. The safety of our employees and their families is the number one priority. If a hurricane or other disaster warning is issued, we will be posting updates to the Siboney website under the ‘Employees” tab. Please go there for information, or contact your supervisor. Visit our website at www.siboneycc.com for updated information. The property management company will take care of the outside of the building, the windows are impact resistant, and the doors will be covered by hurricane panels. If a hurricane warning is issued we will be asked to evacuate, the building will be secured and locked down, and we will not be able to re-enter the building until the all clear has been issued. We must take care of the inside of the office, and following are some recommendations: Safeguard company records and important papers. Scan records or make duplicates to take with you. Move all records, computers, electronics, and other items away from windows, preferably into a room without windows. Place all valuable papers or other items 1-2 feet off the floor in case of flooding. Disconnect all electrical appliances and equipment. Move computers to a room with no windows. Close office windows if applicable and lower and close blinds. Close all office doors. Clean out refrigerators, and take all food to the building dumpster. Do not leave food in wastebaskets. Turn out all lights and unlock the doors to our offices in case emergency personnel need access.
